Aerial Environmental Mapping in Reconnaissance Robotics
Gábrlík, Petr ; Duchoň,, František (referee) ; Mazal, Jan (referee) ; Žalud, Luděk (advisor)
Letecká fotogrammetrie v oblasti bezpilotních systémů představuje rychle rozvíjející se obor nalézající uplatnění napříč nejen průmyslovými odvětvími. Široce rozšířená metoda nepřímého georeferencování založená na vlícovacích bodech sice dosahuje vysoké přesnosti a spolehlivosti, v některých speciálních aplikacích nicméně není použitelná.
Legal regulation of unmanned aircraft
Bušek, Rostislav ; Vedral, Josef (advisor) ; Staša, Josef (referee)
Legal regulation of unmanned aircraft Abstract This thesis deals with the legal regulation of drones with emphasis on the European legal framework and the administrative practice of the Civil Aviation Authority. The aim of the thesis is to provide an explanation of the different terms such as unmanned aircraft and unmanned system, to define the different classes of unmanned systems and to categorize the different types of operation. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the history and allows to interpret the current legislation in the light of its development. The second chapter describes the three-level legal framework, which consists of international law, European Union law and national law. In this chapter I focus on the international organizations operating in the civil aviation sector and their common objectives. The third chapter details the basic concepts of unmanned aviation and compares their definitions in different documents. The fourth chapter focuses on the production, marketing and classes of unmanned systems. It also discusses the obligations of manufacturers, importers and distributors of unmanned systems. The fifth chapter discusses the operation of unmanned systems and the categorisation of different operations with an emphasis on their comparison. In...
Personal data protection with focus on processing and protection in civil aviation
Hodek, Jan ; Scheu, Harald Christian (advisor) ; Svobodová, Magdaléna (referee)
Personal Data Protection with Focus on Processing and Protection in Civil Aviation This diploma thesis focuses on the matter of EU legal regulation of personal data protection and reflects it in the field of civil aviation with focus on commercial air transport, as commercial air transport is at this moment the area of civil aviation where most of the personal data processing and operations with them are made. The goals of this diploma thesis are mainly to describe respective personal data processing in civil aviation and finding out whether GDPR represents an insurmountable legal obstacle for air carriers and civil aviation to operate or whether it is just another complicated act of legislation that air carriers and other entities in civil aviation must reflect. The first chapter of the thesis briefly introduces the history of personal data protection while presenting some of its past and current sources of legislation. Moreover, the first chapter introduces certain legal institutes of current EU personal data protection legislation and draws attention to the continuity and discontinuity of GDPR with the previous one. The second chapter of the thesis provides a short introduction to the topic of civil aviation legislation and describes the relationship between this legislation and GDPR. The...

Zahraniční politika Baracka Obamy
Pata, Martin ; Dvořáková, Vladimíra (advisor) ; Eichler, Jan (referee)
This thesis examines the foreign policy of the 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Obama. A significant theme of Barack Obama's candidacy for presidency was "change"; more specifically change in policy from previous administration. Therefore, the thesis looks at the changes brought about by President Obama once he was elected. First, we look at foreign policy of the United States under President George W. Bush, then we look at foreign policy-related assertions of Barack Obama during his candidacy, and lastly we look at the actual policies of the new administration, with particular focus on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, drones and extrajudicial killing, Guantanamo detention facility and extraordinary rendition, and NSA surveillance.
